Training courses, 11-12/04/2002, Leuven:
program

The tutorial will take place on 11 and 12 april 2002 at the Institute of Astronomy of
the University of Leuven, Celestijnenlaan 200B, B-3001 Leuven, Rooms 200B01.07 (theory) and
200B03.33 (computer applications).
Theoretical lessons will be given before noon, and practical computerapplications in the
afternoon. We will basically treat two methods: the moment method (Aerts et al.) and the method
of amplitude and phase variation across the profiles (Telting et al.).
A sandwich lunch and coffee/drinks will be provided.
The programme is as follows:

09h00 - 10h00 Introduction into line-profile variations
-
10h00 - 11h00 The moment method, part I
-
11h00 - 11h30 Coffee break
-
11h30 - 13h00 The moment method, part II
-
13h00 - 14h30 Lunch
-
14h30 - 17h00 The moment method, practical computer applications
12 April 2002
